The Wagerenhof Foundation in Uster provides a permanent home for over 250 people with cognitive and multiple disabilities. They are supported by staff who perform a demanding job. The common goal is needs-based development for a better quality of life. Basic needs are financed by the public sector. Areas such as special therapies, leisure activities and the expansion of specialist knowledge must be covered by third-party funding.
