About RoadCross Switzerland

RoadCross is there for road accident victims – free of charge and throughout Switzerland

For over 35 years, the RoadCross Foundation has been working to improve safety on our roads – with commitment, independence, and a clear goal: to prevent traffic accidents and help those affected. Every year, RoadCross raises awareness of the risks of road traffic among around 15,000 teenagers and young adults through prevention events at schools and businesses. The focus is not on prohibitions, but on responsibility, empathy, and real stories – told by people whose lives have been changed forever by an accident.

But RoadCross not only works preventively, it also provides support: the free advice service offered by the RoadCross Helpline is open to anyone who needs support after a traffic accident – whether it’s coping with trauma, dealing with the authorities, or legal issues.

In addition, the foundation is politically committed to improving road safety. It brings the perspective of those affected into the public debate, calls for more consistent measures against speeding, and advocates for stricter horsepower restrictions for new drivers. Because many accidents are preventable – if politicians and society take notice and act.

RoadCross stands for a Switzerland in which no one has to suffer from preventable accidents – for responsibility in traffic, solidarity with those affected, and a culture of consideration.
